I did not time a personal clear. What I can point at is a video with a length on it: iampanax’s no-commentary upload from October 16, 2026 is 5 hours, 22 minutes, and 30 seconds, and the title says it includes all four endings. That is a moving player who already knows the rooms. A first trip, with the random puzzles and the deaths on Lacuna’s grab, runs longer than that file. The 8-hour HowLongToBeat figure matches the “roughly 8-hour story” line in the Gamer Social Club review better than it matches a speedrun.
Which number to trust
Use 5–6 hours if someone asks “is it a one-night game?” Use about 8 hours if they want the second ending on the same file and a few of the rare achievements (the wrench-only clear is 0.2%). Do not quote a completionist time. HowLongToBeat does not have one yet.
